As part of its oversight duties, the California Student Aid Commission (Commission) routinely conducts program reviews to confirm that schools are in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, the Cal Grant Institutional Participation Agreement, Cal Grant Program Handbook, and Commission’s Operation Memos and Special Alerts. During a program review, auditors evaluate the school’s compliance identify findings, assess liabilities, and identify actions the school must take to improve its future administrative capabilities.

After completing a program review, the Commission issues a Draft and Final Report, which identifies specific findings, required actions, return of liabilities, and the school’s response. All reports listed below have been successfully closed. 

NOTE: the final report and any supporting documentation may be subject to release under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and may be provided to other oversight entities.
