I invite you to join the Campaign for College Opportunity, along with students, educators, and organizations across the state as we take part in the California Community College’s Undocumented Student Week of Action from October 15th through 19th. 
 
Throughout the week, California Community College campuses, students, educators, and partner organizations will meet with local representatives, sign petitions and postcards in support of DACA, and host daily webinars and conversations on how to best serve undocumented students.
 
I am excited to share that the Campaign is participating in this week of action in three key ways: 
 
• NEW WEB PAGE: Our California Undocumented Higher Education Coalition has launched a new web page! Students, educators, and allies can use the page to access resources and information on undocumented student services at California’s public colleges and universities. 
 
• CAPITOL BRIEFING: On October 18th, our Coalition will host a Capitol Briefing with legislative staff to discuss challenges in access, affordability, and support for undocumented students and how we can best support the unique needs of these students. 
 
• AFFORDABILITY BRIEF: We are releasing “Higher Education Affordability for Undocumented Students in California,” a new brief that explores the unique financial challenges the 75,000 undocumented public college and university students face and how we can alleviate their financial burdens. The brief will go live on our site this Thursday.
