successfully complete college
This research study is about helping young adults return to
college, earn a degree, and fulfill their ambitions. We have
invited you to take part in this research study because you are a
former Cal Grant recipient who may left college before earning a
degree. This consent form tells you why we are doing the study,
and what will happen if you join the study.
Please take as much time as you need to read this consent form.
You can discuss it with your family, friends, or anyone you
choose. If there is anything you do not understand, please ask us
to explain. Then you can decide if you want to take part in the
study or not.
In collaboration with researchers at the University of Missouri
and Vanderbilt University, the Arnold Foundation is providing the
funding for this study.
InsideTrack, a company independent of the Cal Grant Program, will
be responsible for working with students selected for the study.
InsideTrack supports colleges and organizations in improving
enrollment, persistence, and completion rates. Through
student-centered coaching, InsideTrack effectively supports an
increasingly diverse and distributed student body in re-engaging
with the value of completing their education. The researcher have
no financial interests in InsideTrack. If a student has questions
about the counseling provided, or how to contact their counselor,
they may have students call (916) 975-7522 to be connected with
their assigned counselor. For staff questions about InsideTrack
or the services InsideTrack is providing, please email Linda
Firth, the coaching team manager, at linda.firth@InsideTrack.com.
