2024-25 Eligible and Ineligible Cal Grant Schools

On November 1, 2020, the California Student Aid Commission certified the U.S. Department of Education’s 2017 3-year cohort default rates applicable to Cal Grant participating schools for the 2024-25 academic year. Sec. 21 of Chapter 50, Statutes of 2023 (SB 117) specifies that for the 2024-25 academic year, the California Student Aid Commission shall use the three-year cohort default rate certified in 2020 for an otherwise qualifying institution.
