Students can begin submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) starting October 1 of each year to be matched with the right aid opportunities. Although some financial aid programs require students to complete the application by a specific deadline, the FAFSA and CADAA application continues to be available for students to apply for federal and state aid.

Students attending California Community Colleges can submit a FAFSA or CADAA application through September 2 of each year to be considered for a community college Competitive Cal Grant award.

  1. SUBMIT THE FAFSA OR CADAA

Submit the FAFSA. Unless you’re an undocumented, dream act-eligible student, then submit the CA Dream Act Application.

  2. File your GPA

File a certified grade point average (GPA) with us no later than September 2nd for a Community College Competitive Cal Grant award.

  3. Login to WG4s

After your FAFSA or CADAA application is processed, you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s time to create your WebGrants4Students account.
