Eva Robinson General Public Representative (Governor Appointee)

Eva Robinson currently holds the position of Deputy Project Controller for the Employment Development Department’s modernization initiative, EDDNext. In this role, she oversees project management, budgeting, contracts, and financial aspects, offers strategic guidance on policies, and advises stakeholders on fiscal matters and expenditures. Over the past decade, Eva has progressively taken on higher levels of responsibility in various IT leadership roles within the State of California.

Eva actively participates as a member of multiple nonprofit organizations, where she has also served in board capacities. In this role, she successfully developed a Youth Leadership Academy for local high school students. This academy focuses on cultivating civically engaged leaders who aspire to make a difference in the civic life of their communities. Participants engage in activities covering personal development, leadership, civic engagement, and career path planning through this program.

In addition to her professional commitments, Eva is a dedicated coach and mentor for Robotics clubs and has volunteered in Girls Scout troops for many years. Her active encouragement, especially for girls, aims to inspire them to pursue interests in STEM and leadership.

Eva holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering specializing in Electronics and Control from Sathyabama Deemed University, India. Beyond her community involvement, she serves as a commissioner for Sacramento Women and Girls, with the goal of enhancing the social welfare, health, economic status, and overall quality of life for women and girls in Sacramento County.
