Participation Instructions for 15-day Comment period
Description: The California Student Aid Commission (Commission) proposes to amend Title 5, California Code of Regulations, Division 4, Chapter 1, Sections 30701-30709 to implement, interpret, and make specific sections 69612-69615.8 of the Education Code establishing the Assumption Program of Loans for Education (APLE). Government Code Section 11346.8(c) and section 44 of Title 1 of the California Code of Regulations provides that changes in proposed regulations which are sufficiently related to the initially advertised text must be made available to the public for review and comment 15 days prior to the adoption of the regulations.
In the attached, “Revised Proposed Text”, revisions are identified with double strikeout for deleted text and double underline for added text. Revisions to the attachments are identified with strikeout for deleted text and underline for added text. Only comments addressing the regulatory changes will be considered in the rulemaking process.
